Colotech Idol is a special kind of paper. Because of its surface it is great for all kinds of printing and looks more expensive than it actually is. The thing is paper is boring and it is hard to sell it on anything other than price, so we needed inject personality and life into the product. The mailing achieved an 8.3% conversion rate, exceeding the target by over 300%. It generated $409,069 of income over a 6-month period, which was $289,069 over the target set. The return on investment was $360,000 in the first six months. This was over 5x the target set.
